Lorne Krafchik

Mr. Krafchik joined ROC as Group Financial Controller in 2004. He has 27 years' experience in finance, including 18 years in the upstream oil and gas industry. Mr. Krafchik was appointed as ROC's Chief Financial Officer in March 2016, and taken as Chief Executive Officer from January 2020 to February 2024.

Prior to joining ROC, Mr. Krafchik was Group Financial Manager at Energy Africa Limited and prior to that he was employed as a Finance Manager at Rigwell Machine Moving & Haulage (Pty) Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
