Onshore UK – PEDLs 002 and 030


 

HISTORY
  • ROC currently holds 100% interest and operatorship of one licence, plus a carried interest in one licence (which was relinquished in April 2008, pending final government confirmation).
  • In March 2007 ROC completed the sale of its 100% interest in PEDL 005 (Remainder), including the Keddington oil field.
GEOLOGY
  • PEDL 030 is in the Cleveland Basin and contains the Cloughton discovery (with gas in tight Dinantian and Namurian sandstones).

  • Total 454km2 (net 226km2)

ACTIVITY STATUS
  • Since 2001, ROC has acquired 200km 2D and 490km2 3D seismic, and drilled three exploration wells in its onshore UK licences.
  • Most recently, the Willows exploration well in PEDL 030 encountered gas shows in zones of poor porosity and was plugged and abandoned in May 2006.
  • PEDL 030 contains the Cloughton tight gas discovery.
