Andrew J Love

Formerly Chairman of Command Petroleum, Mr Love is a founder Director of ROC, a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Senior Partner in the firm of Ferrier Hodgson, Chartered Accountants. In the prior three years, Mr Love was a Director of Principal Real Estate Investors (Aust) Limited. Mr Love is also a non-executive Director of a number of other public companies.

William G Jephcott

Mr Jephcott is an investment banker who specialises in merger and acquisition advice. He also has experience in the financing and structuring of major resource projects, including those in the oil and gas industry. Since July 2006 Mr Jephcott has been Special Advisor to Gresham Partners Limited. He is also a director of New South Wales Rugby Limited. Previously, Mr Jephcott was Vice Chairman, Investment Banking Group for Merrill Lynch International (Australia) Limited, non-executive Chairman of Engin Limited and a director of Parbury Limited.

Bruce Clement

Mr Clement joined ROC in 1997 and held the positions of Commercial Manager, Company Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer before being appointed Chief Operating Officer (2003). Mr Clement has over 20 years oil and gas industry experience, including banking sector exposure, having held engineering and project management, commercial and supervisory roles with Exxon Corporation and Ampolex, before joining AIDC Limited (Australian Resource Bank). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Science (Hons) from University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University.

Sidney J Jansma, Jr

Mr Jansma is President and Chief Executive Officer of Wolverine Gas and Oil Corporation, the company he founded to explore for oil and gas in North America. Mr Jansma began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1959 working for his father’s private oil company. In 1978 Mr Jansma purchased the company and, during the ensuing 19 years, the company grew to become the third largest gas producer in Michigan. In 1997 Mr Jansma merged his company with Dominion Resources, Inc. Mr Jansma actively contributes to broader industry issues at both state and national levels and has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and Chairman of both its Tax and Environmental Committees. Mr Jansma currently serves on the Board of the American Petroleum Institute and as Chairman of the Board of Calvin Theological Seminary in Michigan.

Adam C Jolliffe

Prior to joining Cargill Financial Markets plc ('Cargill') in 1981, Mr Jolliffe worked for Tenant Trading (Metals) Ltd, a subsidiary of Consolidated Gold Fields, trading non-ferrous metals. At Cargill, Mr Jolliffe joined the non-ferrous metals department as Manager - Aluminium Trading, where he was responsible for Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and Africa. In 1986, Mr Jolliffe transferred to Cargill’s rubber trading business as the manager of their European, African and Latin American operations. In 1990 he joined Cargill’s Financial Trading Division and became the Manager of Western European Equity Trading. Mr Jolliffe resigned from Cargill in November 2003 and is now an independent financial consultant.

Dennis Paterson

Mr Paterson joined ROC in October 2006 in the capacity of President of Roc Oil (China) Company and was appointed as an Executive Director effective 23 March 2007. Mr Paterson has more than 30 years of international oil and gas exploration and production experience in diverse areas including the Middle East, Central and South East Asia, Kazakhstan, Europe, North and West Africa. For the four-year period prior to joining ROC, Mr Paterson consulted on projects in China, Libya and the Bahamas. Mr Paterson formed and managed Genting Oil and Gas which participated in the Indonesian gas discoveries which are now being developed as the Tannguh LNG Project by BP plc. Prior to that he was Managing Director of British Gas Malaysia and Country Manager, British Gas Indonesia. He also worked for British Gas in a variety of senior commercial functions on the super–giant Karachaganak gas condensate field, and Caspi-shelf consortia in Kazakhstan. Mr Paterson has been a Director of a number of small independent oil and gas exploration companies including BPC Limited, Ramco plc and Medusa Oil and Gas. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Science and DIC in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, University of London.

Douglas A Schwebel

Dr Schwebel was appointed a non-executive director of ROC on 1 September 2007. Prior to joining ROC, Dr Schwebel was Exploration Director of Esso Australia. During his 26 year career with ExxonMobil, Doug gained extensive exposure to various petroleum systems and upstream petroleum management practices in Australia, South East Asia and other parts of the world. Positions held by Dr Schwebel while at ExxonMobil include Exploration Advisor in Houston, Production Geology Manager in Sydney; Manager Planning in Melbourne and International Planning Advisor in New Jersey. Dr Schwebel has also represented ExxonMobil on various Australian government, industry and academic bodies. Dr Schwebel holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Sydney University and a PhD from Flinders University.
