Dr R John P Doran BSc, MSc, PhD, FAICD (Chief Executive Officer) (Age 57)

Between 1967 and 1972 Dr Doran obtained, from various universities in the UK and Ireland, a Bachelor of Science in Geology with honours, an MSc and a PhD. During the 1970's Dr Doran worked widely in the international exploration community in Ireland, Libya, Iran and Norway, prior to coming to Australia in 1980. For the next seven years, Dr Doran was directly involved with several successful company-building activities within the Australian oil industry. In 1987, Dr Doran became Managing Director of Command and held that position until 1996 when the company was acquired by Cairn. Dr Doran established ROC in October 1996.
