Richard J Burgess BSc (Age 72)

In 1995 Mr Burgess retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of CMS Nomeco Oil & Gas Co. ("Nomeco"), a North American-based oil and gas exploration and production company founded by Mr Burgess 30 years earlier. Mr Burgess, a geologist by training, has extensive exploration experience in North and South America, South-East Asia, China, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. From 1987 to 1996, Mr Burgess was the senior independent director of Command and became a Board member in May 1997.
