Exploration and appraisal
Five exploration wells have been drilled in VIC/L26, the first discovering oil and gas at Basker-1 in 1983, followed by further discoveries at Manta-1 in 1984 and Gummy-1 in 1990. Basker-Manta 3D seismic was acquired in 1996. One appraisal well was drilled, Basker-2, before proceeding to development.
Development and production
The Basker, Manta and Gummy Oil and Gas Fields are currently in a non-production phase while options for a gas development are being evaluated.
